Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. has announce its participation in the Tokyo Auto Salon 2025, running from January 10-12 January, Under the theme “ART for Human Possibilities—Let’s Strive for Greater Happiness,” Yamaha Motor will showcase its latest advancements in electric powertrain technology, with the spotlight on the cutting-edge Formula E machine developed for the Lola Yamaha ABT Formula E Team.
This innovative vehicle, set to compete in the 2024–25 FIA Formula E World Championship, represents Yamaha’s commitment to sustainable performance and advanced energy management. Equipped with Yamaha's proprietary electric powertrain system, the Formula E car highlights the company's expertise in producing ultra-efficient motors.
This is the machine of the Lola Yamaha ABT Formula E Team, set to compete in the FIA Formula E World Championship for the 2024-25 season. As an electric powertrain manufacturer aiming to acquire the most advanced energy management technology, Yamaha Motor will supply a lightweight, ultra-efficient motor, inverter, and a gearbox package.
